From Playstation’s State of Play Event (Dec. 10th, 2019) — Resident Evil 3 Release Date Revealed.
April 3rd, 2020 (Worldwide) for Playstation 4 and Xbox One.
Just like with Resident Evil 2 Remake earlier this year, this is a re-imagining of the original Resident Evil 3 classic.
Jill Valentine is one of the sole survivors from the Mansion Incident in Resident Evil 1. She returns here with an updated character design. What do you think?
CAPCOM’s RE Engine working it’s magic as usual in creating amazing visuals. The game will have a similar over-the-shoulder camera, like in the Resident Evil 2 Remake.
The story trailer follow Jill’s escape from Tyrant in Resident Evil 2. This makes it a direct follow-up to the previous game.
Expect similar puzzle-solving gameplay and more action-oriented combat segments.
Nemesis
In Resident Evil 2, players had to deal with a relentless enemy called Tyrant. In Resident Evil 3, it’s Nemesis.
Nemesis is another product of Umbrella — a humanoid bioweapon “designed for both brutality with high-functioning intelligence.” Prepare to be stressed once again.
Compared to Tyrant, he’s supposed to have more ways to track down his targets.
Included with Resident Evil 3 is an online asymmetrical 4v1 multiplayer game called Resident Evil Resistance. One player is the Mastermind who can set traps, control creatures, and create obstacles. The other 4 are Survivors who team up in an attempt to escape.
Resident Evil 3 will also release with a Collector’s Edition that contains a high-quality Jill Valentine figure, among other items like a printed artbook, map wall poster, and soundtrack.
If Resident Evil 3 is anything like the Resident Evil 2 Remake earlier in 2019, then it will surely be a high quality game. Let’s see if it can compete as a Game of the Year contender.

They should do this for the old Silent Hill games
Yeah I would love that, too. It might not be popular but my one of my favorites was Silent Hill: Downpour. Konami needs to get on it.
