Marvel’s Spider-Man Trophy Guide — Roadmap
Disclaimer: This Marvel’s Spider-Man Trophy Guide and Roadmap is provided free of charge (meaning it doesn’t cost you anything). It is incumbent upon you, to ensure that you’ve done your proper due diligence in researching, verifying, and preparing your own playthroughs. I am not responsible for any loss of time, how regretful and unintentional that may be. The information provided in this guide aims to be as accurate as possible, but could contain errors (please notify me of them). If you accept this — read on.
This game has an easy Platinum — no difficulty-related or missable trophies, but it requires significant time investment. There is a post-game after the main story has been beaten (you can finish it 15~20 hours), and the last likely trophy before the Platinum is the 100% all districts completion one – I Heart Manhattan.
Thug, Demon, Prisoner, and Sable Crimes will have you grinding away for the majority of the post-game. There are 5 crimes required for each faction, and about all districts have every faction. Luckily, the game will only spawn the crime factions you need to complete the district.
Gameplay Tip:
If you’re having trouble with the lab puzzles, you can go to ‘Settings’ – ‘Accessibility’ and turn on the option to ‘Skip Puzzles‘. You will still unlock the A Bit of a Fixer-Upper trophy. There is no downside to skipping the puzzles.
One other thing, make sure to save all your Challenge tokens for unlocking the suits. If you use these on gadgets and their upgrades, you may find yourself having to grind out the Gold medals to get enough. A Suit For All Seasons is the suit-related trophy.
There is not a whole lot of guidance needed for this game, but there are some tips to help you unlock or save time, so be sure to take a glance through the trophies below.

Marvel’s Spider-Man Trophy Guide — Trophies
Be Greater – Collect all Trophies
Unlock every trophy. This will probably require 30-35 hours as an estimate.
Superior Spider-Man – Unlock all Skills
There are 34 total skills to unlock among the three types: Innovator, Defender, and Webslinger. I would recommend focusing on the combat skills first (Defender tree), but that is personal preference. Unlock the full potential of the combat abilities will help you complete the crimes quicker and easier.
I Heart Manhattan – 100% complete all districts
Finish all activities within all districts. You can find the uncompleted activities in the map legend for a district.
Master of Masters – Defeat Taskmaster
Taskmaster can be fought twice — the first time as an introduction (after doing a few challenges), and finally a second and final time after you have completed all his challenges. He will appear and take Spider-Man against his will, so there is no need to locate him. The trophy unlocks after you beat him the final time.
Backpacker – Collect all Backpacks
Backpacks can be found on the map once the surveillance towers are all activated within a district.
Cat Prints – Track down Black Cat
Solve all the Black Cat Stakeouts to track down Black Cat. The first stakeout is part of the main story mission so you can’t miss it.
Inner Sanctuary – Take down each Demon Warehouse
Demon Warehouses open up after a certain point as passed in the main story, near the beginning of Act 2. Their icon on the map is the same as the trophy icon.
All the King’s Men – Take down each Fisk Hideout
Take down each Fisk Hideout. Advance through the main story to unlock Fisk Hideouts.
Mercenary Tactics – Take down each Sable Outpost
Take down each Sable Outpost. Advance through the main story to unlock Sable Outposts.
Back in the Slammer – Take down each Prisoner Camp
Take down each Prisoner Camp. Advance through the main story to unlock Prisoner Camps.
Neighborhood Watch – Complete all Faction Crimes in a district
There are 4 faction types: Thug, Demon, Prisoner, and Sable. They will unlock as the main story progresses.
A Suit For All Seasons – Purchase all Suits
There are over 20 suits in the game but not all of them are required to unlock this trophy, since some are Season Pass bonus suits. A few unlockable suits also don’t count, like the Black Cat suit, or the ESU suit (obtained from snapping all Secret Photos).
Schooled – Complete all of the Corrupted Student missions
These are classified as side missions that you get from ESU student Phillip Chang. The first chance you get at these missions is after main story mission: Uninvited, in the middle of Act 2.
- College Buddies
- Tick Tock
- Over His Head
- A Matter of Debate
- Home Team Advantage
Amazing Coverage – All Surveillance Towers activated
The task given to Spider-Man near the beginning of the game from Yuri. Activate all the towers in all the districts.
Short Fuse – Get Spectacular or better in a Taskmaster Bomb Challenge
Get a blue (Spectacular) in the Taskmaster Bomb Challenge.
Fists of Fury – Get Spectacular or better in a Taskmaster Combat Challenge
Get a blue (Spectacular) in the Taskmaster Combat Challenge.
Ninja – Get Spectacular or better in a Taskmaster Stealth Challenge
Get a blue (Spectacular) in the Taskmaster Stealth Challenge.
Spy Hunter – Get Spectacular or better in a Taskmaster Drone Challenge
Get a blue (Spectacular) in the Taskmaster Drone Challenge.
Challenge Finder – Complete every Taskmaster Challenge in the city once
The Drone and Bomb Taskmaster challenges are introduced as a main story mission: What’s in the Box? during Act 2. Stealth and Combat challenges will unlock later in the game during Act 3, after the main story mission: Into the Fire.
R&D – Complete all Research Stations
Research Stations are introduced as a main story mission: Harry’s Passion Project during Act 1.
Demons Emerge – Complete Act 1
The start of the game is the beginning of Act 1. Act 1 is completed after completing main story mission: And the Award Goes to….
The Six Assemble – Complete Act 2
Start of Act 2 begins with main story mission: Dual Purpose and ends with main story mission: Out of the Frying Pan….
End Game – Complete Act 3
Act 3 beings with main story mission: Quarantine and ends with the final story mission: Pax in Bello.
Science FTW! – Craft 15 Upgrades
These are your Gadget upgrades. You have to use the various tokens earned to upgrade gadgets.
Marvel’s Spider-Man Trophy Guide — Main Bosses
Knocking Down Kingpin – Defeat Fisk
This is probably the first trophy you will unlock, from the Mission: The Main Event. Fisk is immune to attacks until you use environmental objects to hit him with, or shoot him with webs (R1 button) about 4-5 times.
Staying Positive – Defeat Li
Unlocked in Act 3, Main Story Mission: The Heart of the Matter. Allow Martin Li to use his demon attacks, while dodging them. After a bit, it will drain him and he will be vulnerable. The fight will have a second phase with the giant demon Nioh. For the final phase, you’ll need to throw back the missiles that are being launched, back to the Nioh.
Grounded – Defeat Electro and Vulture
Unlocked in Act 3, Main Story Mission: Picking Up the Trail. Electro will need to be immobilized with Spider-Man’s web shooter (R1 button) before he can be attacked. Vulture’s rush attack will need to be dodged, before you can pummel him. He also has another attack that shoots feathers, and those feathers can be thrown back at him.
Sting and Smash – Defeat Scorpion and Rhino
Unlocked in Act 3, Main Story Mission: Heavy Hitter. Spider-Man will need to use the environmental objects to stun Rhino. Scorpion needs to be immobilized with webs.
Tombstone Takedown – Defeat Tombstone
To even be able to fight Tombstone, you have to complete three side missions:
- On the Move
- What’s He Building in There…
- Let’s Get Ready to…
The Tombstone side missions will unlock in Act 2, after Main Story Mission: Up the Water Spout…
Shock and Awe – Defeat Shocker
Unlocked in Act 1, Main Story Mission: Financial Shock. Shocker will use his beam attacks which will drop giant boulders. Use these to throw back at him to stun him for melee attacks. For the final phase of the fight, Spider-Man will need to bring down the giant structure on Shocker to end the fight.
Wing It – Traverse across the city rooftops
I’m not sure there is a way to track the progress of this trophy, but I got it while going after the backpack collectibles. This is a trophy that should come naturally as you are playing the game.
King of Swing – Complete a level 1 Traversal Benchmark
This should be unlocked naturally as you play the game. If you wish to actively work for it, look for the benchmarks with the running icon, similar to the trophy icon.
And Stay Down! – Complete a level 1 Combat Benchmark
This should be unlocked naturally as you play the game. If you wish to actively work for it, look for the benchmarks with the fist icon, similar to the trophy icon.
Pigeon Hunter – Catch all of Howard’s Pigeons
The side mission for Howard unlocks near the beginning of Act 2, after Main Story Mission: Hidden Agenda. The Side Mission: Helping Howard will unlock in the Chinatown district. Complete the side mission to unlock the achievement.
Hug It Out – Knock together 10 pairs of enemies with Trip Mines
To knock a pair of enemies together, find them bunched up in a group and shoot one of the enemies with the trip mine. If the trip mine thrown at the enemy is lined up with another enemy, the trip mine will trigger and both will be knocked out. Do this ten times. Trip mines gadget unlock at the beginning of Act 2, during main story mission: Dual Purpose.
Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man – Complete all Side Missions
The list below are all the side missions you need to complete in order to unlock this trophy. They become available as you progress through the main story missions. There are 5 side missions from ESU student in Greenwich, and 3 for Tombstone.

- Spider-Man P.I. (Greenwich)
- Spider-Men (Harlem)

- Tick Tock (Greenwich/East Harlem)
- Over His Head (Greenwich/Upper West Side)
- A Matter of Debate (Greenwich/Financial District)
- Home Team Advantage (Greenwich)
- Error: File Not Found (Hell’s Kitchen)
The Scientific Method – Craft your first Upgrade
Unlock this trophy by going to your Gadgets and upgrading any of them.
Spider-Sensible – Perfect Dodge 10 attacks
The Perfect Dodge skill needs to be unlocked from the Defender skill tree.
Overdrive – Complete 10 Vehicle Takedowns
Keep a lookout for random crimes around the city involving vehicles. Later in the game, a lot of the vehicle getaway crimes disappear in a district until you complete the crimes from the other factions (Demon, Prisoner, Sable).
With Great Power… – Pay respects at Ben Parker’s grave
Ben Parker’s grave is in the cemetery area North of Manhattan island in the Harlem district. It’s in the Northwest area.
Hero for Higher – Perch atop Avengers Tower
Avengers Tower is located on the Upper East Side district. It is near the center of the district — just a bit South of the Police Station. You will climb this while searching for the backpacks in the game.
Sightseeing – Photograph all Landmarks on the Map
Unlock all the Landmarks in a district by activating all the surveillance towers in a district. Landmarks are introduced in the main story mission: Landmarking, early in Act 1.
Born to Ride – Ride the Subway 5 times
Once fast travel is unlocked sometime in the middle of Act 2, Spider-Man can use Research Stations or Police Stations to ride the subway.
Sticky and Tricky – Chain 4 unique tricks before landing
Unlock the Webslinger – Air Tricks skill to be able to do tricks. Get some major air while web-slinging past high buildings, and you’ll be able to chain multiple tricks. Press the left analog stick in a different direction to perform a different unique trick.
Snappy Dresser – Wear 5 new Spider-Suits
Should unlock naturally.
Arachnophobia – Perform 75 Stealth Takedowns
Perch takedowns and Web Strike takedowns can be performed while in stealth. Unlock the Extended Perch takedown skill from the Innovator skill tree for more range.
Lost and Found – Collect 5 Backpacks
Unlock all the Backpack locations in a district by activating all the surveillance towers in a district. Backpacks are introduced in the story mission: Keeping the Peace, early in Act 1.
Spider-Man About Town – Greet 10 citizens
While walking the streets as Spider-Man, random citizens will have the ‘triangle button’ prompt show up. Interact with them to greet the citizen. I found a lot of people walking around the streets in Harlem.
Cat’s Out of the Bag – Collect a Black Cat collectible
This is unmissable since it is part of the main story. In Act 1, complete the Main Story Mission: Stakeout.
A Bit of a Fixer-Upper – Complete all optional projects in the lab
Peter Parker needs to complete all 10 Spectrography and 10 Circuit projects. Having problems getting into the lab? You can gain access to the lab after the main story is completed. If you are having trouble with these, you can pause the game and go to ‘Settings’, ‘Accessibility’, and turn ‘On’ the option to skip puzzles. Press R1 during a puzzle to skip it. You don’t lose out on anything by skipping the puzzle, and you can still unlock the trophy.
Ace the Base – Complete all objectives in a base
Complete the Fisk Hideout (pink crown icon) with all the bonus objective conditions completed to unlock this trophy. You can retry these if you mess up.
Marvel’s Spider-Man Trophy Guide — New Game+
One More Time – Complete a New Game+ playthrough
Once you’ve completed the main story, go back to the select save slot screen in the main menu. By pressing the ‘Square’ button, you can create a New Game+ save in an empty save slot.
Power and Responsibility – Complete a playthrough on Ultimate difficulty
While starting a new game or new game+, you can now select the Ultimate difficulty. You cannot load a save right before the final boss, change the difficulty to Ultimate, and play until the end of the Main Story and expect to unlock this achievement. I have already tried this. It has to be from the very beginning, and I suggest you not mess with the difficulty settings at all in your playthrough.
Focusing only on the main story missions, skipping cutscenes, it should take you less than 7 hours. This is probably best done on New Game+, with all your upgrades and Spider-Man at or near level 50. My preferred suit mods: Kinetic Power Cells, Discharge Power Cells, and Threat Sensors. My suit power is Quad Damage. Here is a little trick: Quad Damage works with Electric Web gadget. If you are swarmed by enemies, activate Quad Damage and spam Electric Webs all around you.
Marvel’s Spider-Man Trophy Guide — CTNS: The Heist DLC
Seduced by the City – 100% Complete CTNS: The Heist
Complete all Main Story Missions, all Maggia Crimes, find all Hardy’s stolen art, and complete all Screwball challenges to get 100% complete.
The Hardy’s stolen art don’t show up on the map until you are within the district that it’s within. As for the Screwball challenges, you don’t need a specific rank; just completion.
Screwy – Get Spectacular or better in all Screwball Challenges
Screwball challenges are introduced during the Main Story Mission: Something is Screwy. You just have to get Spectacular or Ultimate for it to count.
The Cat Came Back – Complete “The Maria” mission
The first Main Story Mission of The Heist DLC.

Complete the Main Story Mission: Pursuing the Truth.
Bye Felicia – Complete the “Follow the Money” mission
